Vintage mid-century black silk haori kimono, can be worn as a jacket or short robe, with metallic silver and gold metallic forest trees throughout. Haori-himo ties, silk interior. Kimonos are generally considered 'one size fits most' with relaxed fit measurements that can be larger than the wearer. It measures about 40" around where tied, the length is 32".
Condition is excellent with only gentle age appropriate wear. As with all vintage and antique garments, age appropriate wear may include slight color variation or bleed on vintage and antique hand-dyed kimono textiles, light soil and/or discreet marks from previous use. A basting stitch (or the remnants of a basting stitch) may be found along the garments' edges—some kimono cleaners apply this stitch to hold the garment neatly in storage, it is easily removed if preffered. Photos may show additional wear, some might represent types of wear found throughout.
