Made-To-Order Dresses in Custom Sizes
Most custom fit garments from our made-to-order shop LADYBROTHERS can be made with just the bust, waist, and height measurements, it's not necessary to send us all the measurements on these diagrams. We’ll let you know should we need additional measurements. Garments can also be ordered in standard sizes 0 to 20, in petite, average, or tall. If ordering a custom size, please type your bust, waist, and height measurements into your shopping cart when placing your order (additional measurements on diagrams below are optional.)
We recommend having a friend measure you if you don’t already know your basic measurements. You can measure with a flexible measuring tape, or you can wrap any flexible item (string, belt, masking tape) around you, mark it, and then measure its length with any non-flexible tape measure.
Where possible, we construct garments with generous seam and hem allowances to allow a variety of alterations if needed. All our garments can be returned for a no-charge alteration of existing fabric within 30 days of delivery. Only the cost of reshipment will apply.
Made-To-Order Dresses in Standard Sizes
In addition to custom sizes, all garments from our made-to-order dress shop LADYBROTHERS can be ordered in standard US sizes 0 to 14. Please refer to the number charts below to see the approximate body measurements that our standard sizes are intended to fit. All measurements in the number charts below represent your body measurements, not the measurements of the garments.
Garments will be cut at least 1 inch larger than chart measurements, more where a relaxed fit is intended.

If ordering standard sizes from the number charts above, you can specify height in your CART or via the CONTACT form:
• PETITE - for heights 4’11” to 5’3” ( nape to back waist length 13.5”-14.5“)
• AVERAGE - for heights 5’3.5” to 5’7.5” (nape to back waist length 15“-16.5”)
• TALL - for heights 5’8” to 5’11” (nape to back waist length 17”-18”)
If ordering in standard sizes then AVERAGE height will be assumed unless buyer requests another, we may also verify measurements via email.
Vintage / Pre-Owned T-Shirts
T-shirts from our vintage tee shops may have sizes shown on their vintage labels that don't represent modern sizing, please go by measurements to ensure best fit (if there's no label photo then there's no label present.)
You can use the chart below to understand the approximate contemporary size equivalent of any vintage t-shirt according to its chest measurement. We measure the chest by its flat side-to-side measurement, so just double that number and look it up on the chart.
