Antique hand-painted French porcelain jewelry casket, dresser trinket box. Thickly gilded, with a neoclassical putto pair against a deep blue sky painted across the lid. Outwardly hooked wreath handle, Sevres or similar maker's mark at bottom. Measures 6" wide, 3.75" front to back, 1.25" tall.
Condition is excellent with minor losses to paint, gilt, and glaze; other age appropriate wear may include tarnish or patina, light scuffs, scrapes, wear, or discolors on all surfaces. Photos may show additional wear, some might represent types of wear found throughout.
