Antique French opaline (or similar) blue glass dresser or vanity trinket jar with darkened metal mounts, hinged lid. Hand painted in patterns that a reminiscent of mosaics or stained glass. Nice useful size, measures 4.25" tall and 3.5 across the open mouth. Beautiful color, fine quality.
Condition is excellent with age-appropriate wear to surfaces of metal hardware, glass, and the decorative enamels; other age appropriate wear may include tarnish or patina, light scuffs, scrapes, wear, or discolors on all surfaces.
