1930s / 40s sleeveless golden beige silk chiffon gown with attached cape, gold metallic lame ruffle trims (the gown’s front ruffle line merges into the cape ruffle, a beautiful effect.) The rich metallic textile also appears at the bodice’s yoke and its welt seams. Silk interior. Measures bust 35”, waist 28”, length 60” at front, a bit longer at back. One of the most impressive Holly wood Golden Age garments we’ve seen. Condition is excellent.
